FROM PASTOR LESLEY'S SERMON - APRIL 3, 2005

The TDCM Dream Is:

To be a place where the hurting, frustrated, depressed, confused, alienated, rejected, and broken can find love, acceptance, affirmation, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, encouragement, and peace.

To be a place where the Gospel “Good News” of Jesus Christ is shared with ALL people, especially with those who identify as LGBTQ, same-gender loving, recovering drug addicts and alcoholics, returning citizens, homeless, mentally ill and ALL who feel marginalized by society and live in the Greater Cincinnati (Target Areas: Northside, Mt. Airy, College Hill, North College Hill, Finneytown, Colerain Township), Dayton, Kentucky and Indiana.

To develop Christ-like character in people who become spiritually mature through Bible study, small groups, seminars, retreats, leadership training, and a Christian Growth Institute (Lay Ministry Training Program).

To equip members for ministry by helping them discover and develop their spiritual gifts and God-given talents.

To establish an army of believers who personally focused on winning souls to Christ and committed to becoming church planters, ministry and mission leaders, workers and supporters.

To purchase and develop 30 acres of land with a Family Worship Center, Recreation and Training Center; several group homes for recovery, homeless, HIV/AIDS patients, children/youth and elderly.

To create a community and economic development corporation with programs that will help people become self-sufficient, homeowners, business owners, strong individuals and families, socially and civically empowered and engaged.
