COMMUNITY OUTREACH
COMMUNITY OUTREACH IS PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER TO HELP EACH OTHER
Dear Friends & Family,
Truth & Destiny Covenant Ministries Fellowship United Church of Christ is located in Mt. Airy, a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a mission-driven church with a focus to provide outreach and fellowship to improve the lives of our neighbors in the Mt. Airy community and the surrounding Cincinnati area. This past September marked one year in our new location. With a heart to serve and fulfilling our commitment to offer healing and hope to all people, we began serving a Community Meal on September 27, 2014. Our inaugural meal fed 40 people and 10 people received personal prayer and ministry upon their request. Community Meals will continue on the fourth Saturdays of the month from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in our fellowship hall located at 2645 West North Bend Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239. All are welcome.
Also, Truth & Destiny Covenant Ministries Fellowship United Church of Christ is starting a Food Pantry. The non-perishable food donation drive will be accepting items on the 2nd Sundays of every month from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. or by appointment at the fellowship hall. We are looking for donations and/or sponsors for the Community Meal/Food Pantry program. The estimated budget for Community Meals (80 people) is $250.00 per month. Donations may be in many forms, such as non-perishable food items, paper products, gift items, gift cards, or cash/check donations; donations and gifts of any amount or item are welcomed. Donations can be picked up or they can be dropped off at address above by contacting Valerie Walker at (513) 413-3913. If you wish to make a tax-deductible contribution, a contribution receipt can be provided.
It takes many resources (cash, food, products, volunteers) to make this type of outreach possible and effective, so please consider being a part of our efforts. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We can be reached at information listed above. Valerie Walker is the primary contact person and can be contacted at (513) 413-3913. We look forward to your participation in the Community Meal/Food Pantry program.
Sincerely,
Valerie Walker Coordinator, Community Meal/Food Pantry
